On December 2, 2011, Sheer Technology CEO, Ashley Rockett, was honored by the Greater Shreveport Chamber of Commerce as one of Northwest Louisiana's top 40 entrepreneurs and professionals under the age of 40. This distinction, commonly referred to as "40 Under 40," recognizes successful young professionals for their achievements in business and community involvement, both being arenas in which Ashley has excelled.
Originally a Shreveport native, Ashley re-established her roots in the area and began Sheer Technology, an independent business consulting firm specializing in technology and systems integration. Since its beginning in 2010, Sheer Technology has utilized its combined talents to empower businesses throughout the state and nation alike with objective information necessary to make sensible and cost-effective technology and operational decisions.
Ashley's community involvement began early with her founding of the FAiTH organization at Loyola College Prep in 1990. Since its creation, FAiTH has proudly served more than 10,000 homeless families during the holiday season by providing food baskets and toys for children. Ashley and her family continue to play integral roles in the FAiTH organization each year.
